Helen Heller
Prior to founding the Helen Heller Agency in 1988, Helen was editor-in-chief at Fitzhenry & Whiteside and Avon Books in Toronto. Helen specializes in crime fiction and front-list general fiction. She likes a big story well told and handles a number of internationally-best-selling and multiple-award- winning authors. Helen is a member of the Association of Authors’ Representatives.
Daphne Hart
Daphne Hart joined the Helen Heller Agency in 1990 following a successful career in graphic design. Her area of specialty is non-fiction and her clients range from masters of literary non-fiction, academics, journalists, critics, and wordsmiths to professionals who write prescriptively on their areas of expertise. Books Daphne has agented have spent months on bestseller lists, been made into feature films and won awards for crime and business writing.
Sarah Heller
Since joining the Agency in 2003, Sarah Heller has developed an internationally and New York Times best selling list. She specializes in first fiction, and in establishing new authors with a focus on front list commercial YA and adult fiction, with a particular interest in high concept historical fiction. Sarah received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University, and is a graduate of the Advertising program of the Ontario College of Art and Design
