Cathy Crowe has worked
as a street nurse with Toronto's homeless for the past 18 years.
In 2003 she was appointed an Atkinson Fellow with the mandate to
expand and advance her work as an advocate for the homeless. Her
first book is one of the many positive outcomes the Atkinson support
has made possible.

F eatures the oral histories of ten people who have personally experienced
homelessness and then gone on to fight for decent housing for all.
