Linwood Barclay

Linwood Barclay is one of the best-read columnists in the Toronto Star, where his take on the lighter side of life appears Monday, Friday and Saturday. When he isn’t taking a lighthearted look at family life and everyday trials and tribulations, he’s satirizing the world around us.

His most recent book, Last Resort: Coming of Age in Cottage Country, received critical raves, a Stephen Leacock Associates Award of Merit, and was shortlisted for the 2001 Stephen Leacock Medal for Humour.

Linwood lives in Burlington with his wife Neetha and two children, Spencer and Paige.

His latest book, the hilarious debut mystery Bad Move, was sold to Bantam US and will be out June 04. Linwood's next book, Bad Deal will be out June 05.
