Donna Bailey Nurse

Donna Bailey Nurse is a Toronto-based literary critic who specializes in the work of black Canadian writers and artists. Her first book, What’s a Black Critic To Do? was published by Insomniac Press. In 2006 Donna edited Revival, An Anthology of Black Canadian Writing for McClelland & Stewart.

Cormorant Books will publish Donna’s next book, Driving Miss Bailey, a work of literary non-fiction which will be followed by an exploration of the work of Canadian novelist Carol Shields for TSAR Publications.
