Michelle Muir (aka Nuff Said) was CBC Radio's 2006 and 2007 Poet Laureate. She is a spoken word artist, a 4th grade teacher in Toronto, asprofessional storyteller and a motivational speaker. Her poetry is intended to move, inspire and promote cultural awareness and empowerment. Dubbed an ambassador for literacy, Ms. Muir performs for audiences across Canada and the United States. Michelle Muir’s first poetry collection, Nuff Said, will be published by TSAR Publications in Fall 2009 and will come packaged with a spoken word CD featuring the author performing selections from the work.
