Peter Edwards is a veteran Toronto Star reporter and the author of numerous books including: One Dead Indian: The Premier, the Police and the Ipperwash Crisis, McClelland & Stewart, A Mother’s Story: The Fight to Save My Son David (with Joyce Milgaard), Doubleday, and The Canadian Encyclopedia of Organized Crime (with Michel Auger), McClelland & Stewart.
The TV drama One Dead Indian, based on Edwards’ book of the same name, aired on CTV in January of 2006 and attracted over one million viewers. The movie is available on DVD.
Edwards is most recently the author of Delusion, The True Story of Victorian Super Spy Henri Le Caron (Key Porter Books). Le Caron operated covertly for Canada’s first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald, in the areas of border security and terrorism.
